Dr. William Traynor was born and raised in the beautiful desert of Tucson, AZ. After high school, he served for two years as a Spanish-speaking missionary for his church in the Washington DC area. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate education, graduating with a degree in Business Management.
After college, Dr. Traynor moved to Los Angeles to attend dental school at UCLA where he graduated in 2008. He then practiced as a general dentist for seven years in both Ohio and Texas, coming to understand that his favorite moments of each day were the experiences he had treating the children in his practice. He decided to return to UCLA for a specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry, which he completed in July 2017.
An avid fan of the outdoors, Dr. Traynor loves being around the mountains and looking for a great new hike. He enjoys music, playing piano and singing tenor with community and collegiate choirs. Raised to love both making food and eating it, he can often be found experimenting in the kitchen or trying out the newest restaurants in the neighborhood.
Dr. Traynor is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
